CREDS Seminar with Lina Gurung: Reimagining Education for Indigenous Lenses: Initiatives and Paradoxes in Nepal

Lina Gurung is a Nepali scholar with Gurung heritage. Her PhD was on experiences of online and distance education learners in Nepal, and she has worked as a gender coordinator in a project enhancing access of teacher professional development using ICT. Her interests in digital pedagogy, digital divides and decolonial education will inform her talk exploring how to integrate and sustain initiatives in education from Indigenous perspectives. Lina will highlight paradoxes encountered in concrete work undertaken at Kathmandu University School of Education.
