CREDS Seminar with Damian Maher: AI supported teaching and learning in universities and schools

Since 2022, with the advent of ChatGPT, GenAI is impacting on ways that teaching and learning is being conceptualised, delivered and assessed. This presentation provides an overview of three research projects that have been undertaken  examining the use of AI at UTS and in NSW secondary schools. The first project explored the use of a chatbot designed to supports PSTs’ understanding of behaviour management. The second project involved working with teachers at Trinity Grammar School and Ravenswood in Professional Learning Groups to help develop their teaching and learning skills. The third project involves working with students and teachers in second chance schools to help develop the student’s literacy skills.
