Pauline Kohlhoff is a lecturer and researcher in secondary mathematics education, in the School of International Studies and Education.

She is also the Director of Professional Experience for Initial Teacher Education.

As a former computer engineer, Pauline’s background spans a range of STEM-related disciplines, from network and software engineering through to secondary mathematics teacher education.

Pauline is an active member of the Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads (APSMO) board of directors. Prior to her current role in teacher education at UTS, Pauline led the development and implementation of problem solving and professional learning programs for APSMO, including the management of a team of mathematics education professionals (academics, principals and head teachers) to produce teaching resources and competition papers, and to deliver professional learning courses for practicing teachers.
