Gary Liang is the Founder, CEO & CTO of Bloom AI, an AI platform for universities and high schools. He has an academic background in economics and pure mathematics from UNSW.

He has 10+ years’ experience as an educator, including teaching economics and mathematics at UNSW and the University of Sydney since 2016. He previously founded a high school tuition company specialising in small, personalised classes in mathematics, sciences and economics. He is the author of the HSC Economics Workbook for Year 12 students in NSW.

He is a trusted advisor and consultant to global leaders on the topics of AI and strategy. He was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, working with C-level executives across Australia, the US, and Japan. He performed research at the McKinsey Global Institute, McKinsey’s internal thinktank, covering topics such as globalisation, consumer behaviour in Asia, and the African economy.
